Dear FT community,
I am pleased to announce a 2-year postdoctoral position in my lab at the University of Central Lancashire (Preston, UK).
I am looking for someone with electrophysiological and/or transcranial electric brain stimulation experience to test new avenues to influence brain activity and communication. The project aims to investigate communication between bilateral auditory cortex regions using EEG and tACS. Visits to international partners (Katharina Rufener in Germany and Basil Preisig in Switzerland) are part of the project.
The ideal candidate needs a doctorate in psychology, cognitive neuroscience or a related field (or is post defense/viva), they should have strong programming skills and are passionate about understanding ongoing brain activity and cognition. An interest in neuromodulation is a plus. More information in the link on the bottom.
If you want to have a chat about the position please send me an email (application through the website below), starting date ideally September 2024
Best
Philipp
