[FieldTrip] Exporting forward solution to .fif

Hello list,
I was trying to build a forward solution using ft_volumerealign and export
it to .fif format (so that it can be imported in MNE python). Currently,
the only format I can save the forward solution is in .mat. It will be of
great help if someone can let me know how to save the forward solution in
.fif? Please advise.
