The IO libraries in the upcoming version of Clean will contain support
for displaying bitmaps files on some platforms. To be precise:
Mac Windows 95/NT X-windows
IO lib 0.8 yes (Pict files) yes (.bmp files) no
Object IO yes (Pict files) N/A N/A
Look at the files deltaBitmap (IO lib 0.8) and StdBitmap (Object IO).
Clean 1.3 will be released Real Soon Now.
