Colleagues,

I am pleased to inform you that I am guest editing for a Special Issue entitled “Symmetry in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience”, which will be published in Symmetry (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/symmetry). Details can be found at the following link:

https://www.mdpi.com/journal/symmetry/special_issues/Symmetry_Cognitive_Behavioural_Neuroscience

I am writing to ask that you please consider contributing a paper to this Special Issue. The submission deadline is 31 April 2021. If you are unable to submit a paper for this Special Issue, please do forward this note to colleagues who might be interested.

In this Special Issue of Symmetry, I invite papers investigating the topic of neurobiological and/or behavioural symmetry and asymmetry and their importance in the broad context of cognitive and behavioural neuroscience. I welcome papers using electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and electrical/magnetic stimulation techniques, as well as behavioural and biomechanical analyses that address (a)symmetry in health, aging, disease and rehabilitation. Reviews and theoretical debates on the lateralization of neurobiological functions are also encouraged.

For further details on the submission process, please see the instructions for authors at the journal website (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/symmetry/instructions). Thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.

Symmetry is fully open access. Manuscripts are peer reviewed, and a first decision is given to authors approximately 12.2 days after submission. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of CHF 1400 currently applies to all accepted papers (APC: CHF 1800 from 1 January 2021 onwards).

I look forward to collaborating with you and to hearing back from you soon.

Best regards,

J.C. (Chris) Mizelle
