I just heard that one of my colleagues will take care of the dongle, so I'm sure it will be all fine now.
Thanks for the help!
Kind regards,
Caroline

Dear Mr. Horschig,
Thank you very much for your reply and the Fieldtrip update. Unfortunately Matlab still gives an error, saying that the RPC-server is unavailable.
Does this mean that the Oxysoft dongle needs to be plugged in while analyzing the *.oxy4 data?
In my case, I'm not the one collecting the data, but analyzing it. Hence, our USB dongle is located in a different lab.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Caroline

Hi Caroline,
Since yesterday, it should possible to work with oxy4-files. Can you download yesterday’s version and give it a try? If it does not work, let me know (or best, reply to this list so that others can find it back).
Best,
Jörn

Subject: [FieldTrip] Analyze *.oxy4 files
I hope this is the right place to ask my question:
How to analyze *.oxy4 files (Artinis, fNIRS data) in Matlab? I tried to use "ft_preprocessing" from the Fieldtrip toolbox, but online it says that the .oxy4 file format is currently not supported by FieldTrip (however, it does support the *.oxy3 files; http://www.fieldtriptoolbox.org/tutorial/nirs_multichannel/).
Is there maybe a different function to still be able to convert/analyze *.oxy4 files?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Caroline
