problems using multiplotTFR for eeg-files.

Dear Carina,

cfg8.layout      = 'CTF151.lay';

This is incorrect. The cfg.layout field specifies for the plotting function,
how to interpret the input-data. With this configuration fieldtrip expects
that your input data consists of data obtained with the 151-gradiometer CTF
system.
Please have a look at the help of multiplotTFR, in which it is explained how
to deal with the cfg.layout field.
