Open Source Clean?

I notice that this list is comatose and has been for 6 months (at
least if you believe the archive). In the same line of thought,
although Clean is a very interesting system, there is little mention
of it anywhere: the talk is always of Haskell, SML or Erlang. Maybe it
is time for the Clean team to consider following the excellent example
of the Erlang team and release the source?

The commercial prospects of Hilt, IMO, would be improved by this
move, as it would give potential users more confidence in the
system and Hilt could still sell consultancy and support services.

Any comments?

Regards,
