toString, aka overloading problems

With technical reasons, I implicitly refered to the implementation. It is
not clear to me whether these reasons are fundamental, however, it is very
hard (or maybe not possible at all) to adjust the implementation of
overloading in such a way that the system is able to deal with the proposed
instances.
