Dear Rinus,

It was pleasant to hear from you and thank you for replying so
promptly. You wrote in reply to my question as to whether your group is
still interested in a definitive account of abstract reduction:

We are not necessarily seeking a collaborator - although it would be
welcome - chiefly we wanted to establish whether you are still
interested and we would like to keep in touch with you over this work.
Of course we would be delighted if someone at Nijmegen could find time
to answer any questions or wished to collaborate.

- Best wishes, David.
