Waves is a series of scientific events focusing on modulatory interactions between the Body and the Brain. We critically evaluate if and how neural excitability, information processing, and overt behavior can be influenced by the body and its peripheral physiological activity: breathing, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal activity, oculomotor dynamics and circadian rhythms complement the assessment of Brain Waves, informing and advancing our understanding of how we perceive, act, and evaluate the dynamically changing environment we live in.

For Waves’27, we are planning a 4-day Summer School, followed by a 3-day Conference.
At the end of the days, social, cultural and gastronomic activities to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere in Palermo.
