*             Duration: 4 years
*             Salary: TV-L E13 (100%, full-time)
*             Location: FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany

coHu is an interdisciplinary doctoral program funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), bringing together expertise from engineering, computer science, and psychology to advance human-machine interaction, especially in healthcare-related systems.

The principal investigators offer expertise in areas including:
*             Human-machine interfaces
*             Human-in-the-loop design
*             Embedded systems and hardware/software co-design
*             Rehabilitation, assistive and medical robotics
*             Prosthetics and exoskeletons
*             Biomechanics and movement analysis
*             Nonlinear, optimal and model predictive control
*             Wireless communication and radar systems

Who can apply?
Applicants should hold (or soon obtain) an M.Sc. degree in engineering, computer science, psychology, or a closely related field. We are looking for candidates with:
*             Strong English skills (German is a plus)
*             Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
*             The ability to work independently and take responsibility for their research
*             Motivation for interdisciplinary research
