Recruitment of Post-Doctoral Researcher for the Einstein Center for Youth Mental Health (ECYM) Berlin
The Einstein Center for Youth Mental Heath (ECYM) is a research center dedicated towards improving early detection and intervention of serious mental illness in youths (12-25 years). A longitudinal study will track around 950 adolescents, both with and without elevated risk for psychosis, bipolar disorders and borderline personality disorders, using multi-modal neuroimaging and digital assessments to identify risk and resilience factors. In addition, new therapies and care models will also be developed and tested. Young people with lived experience of mental illness will be actively involved in the research.
ECYM invites applications from outstanding, international (overseas, UK) post-doctoral researchers with EEG/MEG/OPM-experience to work on a project to examine mechanisms and predictors of circuit deficits in emerging mental disorders using EEG/OPMs.
The post-doctoral position is available for up to 4 years and is situated in a highly interdisciplinary research environment. A possible start date would be in summer/autumn 2026.
