Dear Thomas,
we have not yet extended our source space into the retina, so have not yet really done it ourselves, but it should principally work with DUNEuro
https://www.medizin.uni-muenster.de/duneuro/startseite.html
https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0252431
if you make sure that the head model and source space contain the retina
and sufficient grey matter thickness and/or high enough FEM resolution of the retina.
As the source might additionally then be close to the sensors, the source model might have special importance, check e.g.

Betreff: [FieldTrip] EEG Leadfield computation for eyeballs
Dear colleagues,
I am looking for a way to compute an EEG lead-field matrix for two single dipoles at the centers of the eyeballs. Has anybody worked on or ideally solved this problem?
Thanks, Thomas
