The scope 
of this SI includes uses of OPMs for understanding brain function, 
cognition, and behavior; advances in OPM methods for both fundamental 
and clinical research; and the development of OPM-MEG technology itself.

The Special Issue is open for submissions until May 31, 2026. When 
submitting your manuscript please select the article type “SI: Optically 
Pumped Magnetometers”. Submissions will be reviewed by three independent 
reviewers. SI papers will be published as they are accepted and appear 
in an SI collection online.
