[FieldTrip] 4-Year Funded PhD Position, Psychology UAM

Dear all,
We are offering a fully funded four-year PhD position (Spanish FPI) under the Spanish National Plan project “Oscillatory mechanisms and their causal role in emotional memory processes” (PID2024-155278NA-I00).
The project investigates how neural oscillations contribute to emotional memory and how causal manipulations of brain activity affect memory performance. The successful candidate will use non-invasive brain stimulation and electrophysiological techniques to study the neural basis of emotion–memory interactions. The PhD will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Manuela Costa at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Faculty of Psychology, Department of Psychobiology and Health.
Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Excellent proficiency in English, programming skills and strong motivation for experimental research in cognitive neuroscience are essential.
