Hi Irene,

It’s not clear to us as readership what step of the tutorial you are referring to.

I would expect that if you use ft_meshrealign with a cfg that is proper for your use case, you should be able to realign the object.

Typically, obj-files do not contain explicit information w.r.t. the metrical units in which the coordinates are expressed. FieldTrip tries to do an educated guess, but may fail depending on the contents of the file.
If ‘dm’ is wrong, you can just change this ‘by hand’, after the file has been read in.

hs = ft_read_headshape(filename);
hs.unit = ‘cm’/‘m’/‘km’/‘mm’/‘feet’/‘inch' <-choose one of those (apart from feet or inch)

The displayed headshape is out of dimensions and when trying to set the fiducials the indicated position is not recognized correctly by the script. This happens only with this headmodel. Is there a way to correct this or is the .obj file corrupted?
