PLEASE NOTE THAT SPACES ARE LIMITED TO 60 PER SESSION. THESE WILL BE ALLOCATED ON A FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED BASIS, WITH A WAITING LIST.

This workshop series is brought to you by the Fetal, Infant, & Toddler Neuroimaging Group (FIT’NG)<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://fitng.org/__;!!HJOPV4FYYWzcc1jazlU!6ZCutyzU4eHNs4BhEjhqZFW3QnxlRrT-ZlEjPv7mJkl-b2rSfR3IibFUkol24290w3QJgzh9JOjN_YANicEm68HE3aYOQQ$> and is organized by Drs. Lindsay Bowman and Sam Wass on behalf of the FIT'NG Vision and Visibility Committee.

FIT’NG is hosting a 10-day virtual workshop series covering basic and advanced methods in developmental EEG/ERP. The workshops will run from Feb 20 - Mar 3 and consist of one 3-hr session per day, from 8 am - 11 am PST/ 11 am - 2 pm EST/ 4 pm - 7 pm GMT/ 5 pm - 8 pm CET. Details of each workshop session can be found here<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ityZTTnFPM4WNAmH9ClJPXXrVEqz8s1mXh5AoeuYJrw/edit*gid=0__;Iw!!HJOPV4FYYWzcc1jazlU!6ZCutyzU4eHNs4BhEjhqZFW3QnxlRrT-ZlEjPv7mJkl-b2rSfR3IibFUkol24290w3QJgzh9JOjN_YANicEm68Hc6XmqmA$>.

Workshops are geared towards the expert and intermediate EEG users. EEG novices with less experience may still benefit from the workshops, but it is recommended that novice EEG researchers engage in advanced preparation to maximize their workshop experience.

  * Attendees who are comfortable with one approach to EEG collection/analysis but want to learn about other approaches will benefit from attending workshops on topics currently outside of their immediate area of expertise but relevant to a current or future research direction.
  * Attendees who are comfortable with one approach to EEG collection/analysis and want to contribute to advancing that approach and discussing current issues and cutting-edge techniques in that approach will benefit from attending workshops on topics within their immediate area of expertise.
  * Attendees who are relatively new to EEG research can still benefit from the workshops if they prepare in advance with recommended readings, videos, and tutorials linked here.<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ityZTTnFPM4WNAmH9ClJPXXrVEqz8s1mXh5AoeuYJrw/edit*gid=0__;Iw!!HJOPV4FYYWzcc1jazlU!6ZCutyzU4eHNs4BhEjhqZFW3QnxlRrT-ZlEjPv7mJkl-b2rSfR3IibFUkol24290w3QJgzh9JOjN_YANicEm68Hc6XmqmA$>

As a whole, this workshop series provides a much-needed space for developmental EEG/ERP researchers to come together to discuss issues in methodological and analytic techniques uniquely relevant to developmental data (especially from infants, toddlers, and preschool children). Each session will be interactive and includes:

  * lecture (including Q&A) from invited expert in a specific topic in EEG/ERP research (see list below)
  * interactive breakout sessions lead by each speaker and researchers from their lab.
  * structured group discussion of breakout topics, such as brainstorming of best practices, and future research directions (including possible ‘multiverse’/comparative analyses papers to advance the field)

In all sessions we aim to (1) introduce the basic principles of the featured methodological approach, (2) showcase the methodological approach via examples of current research in the invited speaker’s lab or relevant data, (3) identify current best practices in the application of the featured approach, and (4) brainstorm approaches to determining best practices where they are currently lacking.

Registration is free for FIT’NG members. The cost for non-members is $10 per session/$50 for the entire 10-day workshop series. (Click here to learn about the FIT’NG mission and how to become a member.<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://fitng.org/membership/__;!!HJOPV4FYYWzcc1jazlU!6ZCutyzU4eHNs4BhEjhqZFW3QnxlRrT-ZlEjPv7mJkl-b2rSfR3IibFUkol24290w3QJgzh9JOjN_YANicEm68FHzxPwlQ$>)

If you are registering for multiple sessions, please make sure to sign up for only the sessions you will definitely attend, as spaces are limited to 60 per session and we need to ensure that all places are filled.
