Research Fellow (Post Doc) in Auditory Neuroscience - Ref:1884745
Closing Date:        22/06/2022

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated research fellow  (Post Doc) to work on a Demant foundation-funded project titled "Assessing non-target hearing through immersive audio". The project will use behavioural methods, eye tracking and EEG to study auditory scene analysis in normal hearing (NH) and Hearing impaired (HI) listeners. It is supervised by Prof. Maria Chait at the UCL Ear Institute and conducted in collaboration with Dr. Lorenzo Picinali (Imperial College) and Dr. Martha Shiell (Eriksholm, Denmark).  Initial funding for this post is available for 24 months.

The UCL Ear Institute is a leading centre for hearing research in Europe, situated within one of the strongest neuroscience communities in the world at University College London.

Key Requirements
Applicants should hold a PhD degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or Neuroscience-related subject and have previous experience in auditory research and/or brain imaging as well as in digital signal processing and programming.
