[FieldTrip] how to select 'central' channels?

Hi Songhee,

Wildcards are system specific. Unless you are working with CTF data, things like ‘MC*’, ‘MZ’ etc won’t work.

Best wishes,

Hi FieldTrippers,

What is the proper way to select the 'central' channels in an MEG dataset?

I've tried:
central = ft_channelselection('MZC', GA.label);
But this returns an empty cell array. (GA is an outcome of ft_timelockgrandaverage.) 'MZ'/'ML' etc don't work either.

I also tried as a test:
meg = ft_channelselection('meg', GA.label);
This correctly returns all the MEG channels.

Any hint will be appreciated. Thanks!
