[FieldTrip] Noisy channels in resting-state EEG

Dear FieldTrip experts,

I am analysing some resting-state EEG data collected using a 32-channel
system. After filtering the data between 1-30Hz, I have been visually
inspecting the continuous data to identify any sections with artefact and
any noisy channels. It seems that the criteria for classifying a channel as
"noisy" can be a bit subjective (some channels look clearly noisy, but
others are not so obvious).

Is there an amplitude threshold (or other objective measures) that can be
used to determine whether a particular channel is too noisy and should be
rejected?

Would greatly appreciate your advice on this!

Kind regards,
Judy Zhu
