Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow to 
work at the Centre for Human Brain Health, University of Birmingham. The 
successful candidate will work on a project aimed at studying the role 
of brain oscillations in relation to perception, attention and memory. 
This will be done in the group of Prof. Ole Jensen. The methodological 
focus of the project is MEG recordings and re-analysis of existing 
animal data.

The candidate will be making use of the newly to be installed MEG system 
at the University of Birmingham and help to develop the laboratory. The 
candidate will be involved in all stages of designing and conducting 
experiments, analysing electrophysiological data. The candidate will be 
expected to prepare the results for high quality academic publications, 
to present at national and international academic conferences, and to 
engage in public activities. All research will be conducted in the 
spirit of open science. Furthermore the candidates will take part in 
supervision students and contribute to the Centre for Human Brain Health 
through leadership.
