[FieldTrip] .dat file

Hello Hiba,

.dat files can be imported into MATLAB using the 'import data' GUI; you can
also use that GUI to generate code for importing, and then you can modify
the code to suit your needs.
There are also plenty of other low-level functions for reading .dat files,
e.g.,

http://web.cecs.pdx.edu/~gerry/MATLAB/plotting/loadingPlotData.html, etc.,
you can find many more examples like this online.
