[FieldTrip] segementation based on external trigger

Hi,
I'm doing the EEG realtime processing using TMSI and I want to segment the eeg signal based on the trigger. My questions are:
1) How can I do that in fieldtrip?2) I'm using ft_realtime_average and ft_realtime_selectiveaverage to average the eeg signal, however, there is error shown.    Error using ft_checkconfig(line 153)    The field cfg.datafile is required.    The field cfg.headefile is required.
