Dear Rajat,

you can use ft_volumelookup in Fieldtrip (ahja, Arjen beat me to it!).

You can also specify an atlas in your cfg when using ft_sourceplot, which will show the anatomical label according to that atlas.

You need to specify an atlas which is in the same coordinate system, see

http://fieldtrip.fcdonders.nl/tutorial/beamformingextended#plotting_sources_of_oscillatory_gamma-band_activity (scroll down to the exercise.

Best,

Jörn

Subject: [FieldTrip] MNI coordinate to Anatomy

Dear Fieldtrip users,

If I give you an MNI coordinate (in mm), is there a function (say from the SPM Anatomy toolbox) that I can use to get a label associated with that location?

(Without using the GUI)

Thank you.
