Thanks, Jan-Mathijs, you were correct about the error being related to
sample info.

After creating virtualchannel01 and virtualchannel02, I simply added the
two lines below:
virtualchannel01.fsample = 250;
virtualchannel02.fsample = 250;

Appending the datasets and computing ft_mvaranalysis has worked smoothly
from there!
