[FieldTrip] problem with buffer simulation

Hi Payman,

I think what you describe is related to this bug:
http://bugzilla.fcdonders.nl/show_bug.cgi?id=934

I am afraid that there is no easy fix for this, and we did not continue 
investigating this further.
