[FieldTrip] Normality assumptions behind FT's statistics

Dear all,

does FieldTrip perform any transform on coherence/power spectra before ft_freqstatistics? If so, it should be documented so users would not apply the transform prior to the test. If not, t-tests cannot and should not be applied to this kind of data.
