[FieldTrip] beamformer

Hello FieldtripList,

In the beamformer tutorial (
http://fieldtrip.fcdonders.nl/tutorial/beamformer), the contrast of
(post-pre)/pre was calculated. I am wondering why can't one just
calculate (post-pre), instead.

Could someone explain that?
