[FieldTrip] planar gradient literature

Hi,

I would like to ask for some literature concerning planar gradient
computation. I am new in MEG field and I need some more information on
theoretical background of such a calculation. The stuff available in "Event
related averaging and planar gradient" tutorial is useful but not
very detailed. So, could you please direct me to some reference.
