Make a leadfield from matlab structure

Hi all!
i have an MRI image in .img format.
i made, with brainsuite software, tissue structure of the cortex, skull and
skin (in matlab format).
can i use some fieldtrip fuctions to make leadfield matrix?or should i make
all the analysis only fieldtrip functions?
