Dear schofflen,
Do you mean to say that I need to download all the zip files along with the directory and locate them to some folder.  And then locate matlab to that folder.

You probably still have to add the fieldtrip folder to you matlab-path, after you downloaded the most recent fieldtrip version.

I am going through the tutorials of fieldtrip.  When I try to run the example scripts on matlab, I am getting an error regarding the functions which are undefined such as definetrial or preprocessing.  Please guide me to built the functions on fieldtrip.
