I am afraid this behaviour seems to hit each project,
in particular the examples in the Clean distribution.

Yes --and with success! I updated and ran the Life game example.

A slowish compilation is good enough for me right now.
Nonetheless, I'd welcome a more elaborate error message,
or respective explanations in the user manual.

PS: I forgot to mention that the source files
reside on the (Mac) host file system,
not in the private f.s. of the virtual pc.
Doesn't seem to matter, though.
