[clean-list] Clean-2.1 installation problems

Hi,

I downloaded the source code distribution of Clean 2.1 and found no
instructions on how to compile and install it. I can't use the precompiled
package because it needs glibc-2.3 and I have glibc-2.2 and I am a bit
nervous about upgrading the run-time library...

I use Slackware Linux, kernel version 2.4.18 on a Athlon XP 1800+
processor.

Can anyone help me, please?
