Yes, such snapshots would be VERY useful. "perhaps" is an
understatement.

I for one, would not mind building the PowerPC stuff on a regular basis,
provided I can get hold of the latest sources.

There have been a few updates in the past several weeks related
to bugs identified in the field and fixed in the Windows version.
Linux fixes were reported to be forthcoming in the next release.

Do you know when the next release might be?  If it will be another
6 - 8 months, perhaps providing snapshots with the fixes would
be useful for users.
