VIS, SIMD etc and Clean

Clean's strong support for arrays begs the question of whether the
native code generator is able to take advantage of the internal
parallelism of modern chips and, more specifically, of the instruc-
tions that expose it, like VIS in UltraSPARC, SIMD in PIII, AltiVec
in the new PPc from Moto etc. I believe it would be the only language
implementation of that kind if it did.
