As Olivier Lefevre said, your analysis of SML code is very
interesting. You will do a very good work to us (SML
programmers) if you send a copy of your comments to the
SML team, at Lucent (Dave McQueen or John Reppy). If you
don't want to help the competition directly,  we could do it 
(if you don't have anything against this, of course).
