Dear all,

Registration is now open for the Advanced MEG/OPM Toolkit, which will take place 12–16 October 2026 at the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging, Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

This year's five-day toolkit has a strong focus on Optically Pumped Magnetometer (OPM) MEG, while also covering advanced analysis methods that are applicable to both conventional SQUID-MEG and OPM-MEG. The course combines
lectures with extensive hands-on sessions using the FieldTrip toolbox, and includes dedicated time for participants to work on their own data with guidance from experienced tutors.

Topics include:

Preprocessing of MEG and OPM-MEG data

OPM-specific denoising methods

OPM coregistration

Source reconstruction

Non-parametric statistical analysis

Custom OPM helmet design

Open science and good practices

Supervised "FieldTrip playground" sessions for analysis of your own datasets

The course is intended for researchers with an interest in advanced MEG data analysis. Please note that this edition focuses on MEG (both SQUID and OPM) and does not cover EEG analysis.

Places are limited. Participants will be selected based on their background, research interests, and motivation, with the aim of creating a group of similar experience levels to maximize interaction during the course. The pre-registration
deadline is 25 August 2026. Applicants will be informed shortly after the deadline whether they have obtained a place.
