<html aria-label="message body"><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;"><p data-start="210" data-end="411">The Institute of Neuroscience at Trinity College Dublin invite applications for a postdoctoral position in the Irrationality Lab, led by Prof. Konstantinos Tsetsos.</p><p data-start="413" data-end="855">The position is funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant <em data-start="470" data-end="543">“The Dynamics of Attribute Weighting in Multiattribute Choice” (DYNATT)</em>. The project investigates how the brain dynamically shapes and revises preferences during decision-making. We will combine OPM-MEG, computational modelling, and behavioural paradigms to decode multiattribute preferences at high temporal resolution and uncover the neural mechanisms underlying preference variability. This is an ambitious multidisciplinary 5-year project at the interface of behavioural, neural, and computational sciences.</p><p data-start="413" data-end="855">Selection will be based on scientific excellence, publication record, and strong hands-on experience with experimental and analytical methods in cognitive neuroscience.</p><p data-start="413" data-end="855">The successful candidate will contribute to establishing and running MEG experiments using a new OPM-MEG system (with concurrent EEG and eye-tracking), analyse neural and behavioural data, and help develop the lab’s neuroimaging capabilities. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative research environment at TCIN and to benefit from mentorship within a leading ERC-funded research programme in decision neuroscience. Opportunities for research visits to partner laboratories across Europe will be encouraged and supported.</p><p data-start="1082" data-end="1506">The start date and duration of the appointment are flexible and can be adjusted to suit the candidate and project needs. Salaries follow the IUA postdoctoral scales (currently approx. €45,000–€65,000 depending on experience), with scope for appointment at higher points of the scale for more senior candidates (€65,000–€80,000).
