<div dir="ltr"><div dir="auto">The Precision Neuromodulation Lab at Northwestern
University in Chicago is actively recruiting postdocs in cognitive/affective neuroscience and neuroengineering. We develop and
experimentally apply closed-loop brain stimulation and
electroencephalography for human mood regulation, decision-making,
and memory research. The
leading methods in the lab include transcranial magnetic stimulation
(TMS) with Neuronavigation and Robotic Guidance, Electroencephalography
(EEG), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Transcranial Alternating
Current Stimulation (tACS), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of brain
stimulation, and Computational Cognitive Testing and Modeling. <br></div><span><p>Prospective candidates should have: (1) a PhD in human
neuroscience, cognitive sciences, computer sciences, biomedical
engineering, or a related field by start date, (2) experimental or
computational experience with one or more listed techniques as evidenced
by the first-authored peer-reviewed journal or conference articles, and
(3) a readiness to learn and apply both computational and human
experimental methods in brain stimulation. Proficiency in some of the
following is a plus: MATLAB/Python coding, EEG/MRI analysis,
cognitive/mental health assessment instruments, finite element method
modeling, and statistics/machine learning.</p><p>Postdocs
will get exceptional prospects for shaping the future of precision brain
stimulation therapies. We offer a highly interdisciplinary environment,
tailored mentoring, and extensive support for career development,
ensuring that you can grow and succeed in your field. There are plenty
of on-site and national opportunities for collaborations with clinical
neuroscience and biomedical engineering groups, formal and informal
training, and access to research-dedicated MRI scanners, computational
servers, and human phenotyping resources.</p></span><div>Lear more about the positions, requirements, and benefits on our website: <a href="https://sites.northwestern.edu/neuromodlab/join-us/" target="_blank">https://sites.northwestern.edu/neuromodlab/join-us/</a></div><div><br></div><div>Ivan Alekseichuk, PhD, Assistant Professor</div><div>Northwestern University, Chicago, IL, USA<br></div></div>
