<p>The Department of Psychology at the University of Lübeck is looking to hire a Research Scientist (m/f/d).</p>

<p>The position is available for 3 years. The possibility of obtaining a PhD is given.</p>

<p>The position is situated in the established research group "Auditory Cognition" (Prof. Jonas Obleser) under the supervision of me, PD Dr. rer. nat. Malte Wöstmann. The position is part of a research project funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG).

 The project aims to explore auditory attention and its neural bases. To this end, we will record behavioral and electroencephalography (EEG) data in younger and older adults to investigate the neuro-cognitive mechanisms underlying capture of attention and

 suppression of distraction. The position does not come with any teaching obligations.</p>
