I am reading Paul Nunez and Ramesh Srinivasan's book Electrical Fields of the Brain. They are critical of the use of dipole modelling even stating that [dipole modelers believe that] "fancy mathematics can somehow trump fundamental physical limitations" referring
to Minimal Constrained Inverse solutions to overcome non-uniqueness. This book is from 2006. Is this still a serious consideration in dipole modelling or have these issues been resolved? <span style="font-family: Calibri, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">I
