Current research in the Sensory-Motor Integration Laboratory at ECU (SMILe) is focused on using

<span style="color:black">neuroimaging (electroencephalography; EEG) and motion capture techniques to study sensorimotor integration and motor control. Specifically, laboratory research interests include examining the effects of age-related changes on cognitive

 motor control, the effects of sensory function and hand dominance in motor control, and neurobiological strategies for moving in 2-D and 3-D virtual environments</span>.<o:p> </o:p></p>
