the Mechanisms of Distributed Spontaneous Brain Activity. The project is led by Professor Mark Woolrich and uses a combination of electrophysiology (M/EEG, LFP recordings), fMRI and computational methods development to advance our understanding of brain network
dynamics. for 2 years (in the first instance).</span></div>

<span style="font-size: 14.666666984558105px;" class="">You will build novel machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to gain new insights into the nature of brain network dynamics from functional neuroimaging data (fMRI, M/EEG, LFP). You will
also interact with, and make important contributions to, a wider research programme, between Oxford (WIN), London (Kings’s College) and Nijmegen (Donders Institute); and you will be at the heart of some of the major brain imaging initiatives.</span><br class="">

<span style="font-size: 14.666666984558105px;" class="">You will have or be close to completion of a PhD in a neuroimaging, computational neuroscience, machine learning, applied statistics, information engineering, computer science, engineering maths, physics
or a relevant computational domain. With knowledge of machine learning, and/or engineering maths you will have the necessary mathematical and computational skills to put these into practice. Good knowledge in statistics and/or Bayesian learning would be desirable.</span><br class="">
