Does this mean that the Oxysoft dongle needs to be plugged in while analyzing the *.oxy4 data?</div>

In my case, I'm not the one collecting the data, but analyzing it. Hence, our USB dongle is located in a different lab.</div>

it says that the .oxy4 file format is currently not supported by FieldTrip (however, it does support the *.oxy3 files;
