<p>I'm wondering how to do a mixed design permutation test on time-frequency data, specifically, how to specify the design matrix.</p>

<p>I followed the instructions in this post <a href="https://mailman.science.ru.nl/pipermail/fieldtrip/2008-March/001500.html" class="OWAAutoLink" id="LPlnk789706" previewremoved="true">https://mailman.science.ru.nl/pipermail/fieldtrip/2008-March/001500.html</a> for

 design matrix, but got an error '<span>the design matrix variables should be constant within a block</span>'.</p>
