<div>Applications are invited for a full-time postdoctoral position to perform research within the scope of the project „Brain and body rhythms: on the relationship between movement and percept“. The project will investigate how the movements of our body influence visual perception by analyzing behavioral and electrophysiological data.</div>
<div>Research will include acquisition of behavioral, movement (including eye) and EEG/ MEG data and the complex analysis of the aforementioned data with a special focus on oscillatory components. Applicants are further expected to program visual stimuli and combine the various measurement techniques necessary (EEG, eyetracker, body and head tracker).</div>
<div>Applicants should have a PhD degree and a strong background in Neuroscience with a special focus on EEG measurements and analysis (Matlab). Additional knowledge on the technical aspects of EEG in combination with other equipment as well as experience in measuring and analyzing eye data (EOG, video based trackers) is beneficial.</div>
<div>The position is for up to four years. The preferred starting date is September 2016, or as close to this as possible. Salary will be based on the pay scale for the public sector in Germany (TV-L).</div>
<div>Preference will be given to handicapped persons in case of otherwise equal aptitude. The University aims at increasing the proportion of female employees. The position is suitable for part-time employment.</div>
